Shimla: Bharatiya Janata Party state president Rajiv Bindal on Wednesday targeted the Himachal government in Nagpur. Bindal said in a press conference, Congress gave guarantees to the people in the Himachal Assembly elections in 2022. The public came to power by falling for the populist promises of Congress. But till date no promise has been fulfilled.
Bindal said that Congress gave false guarantees to get votes. He said, Congress promised sisters to give Rs 1500 each to 28 lakh women above the age of 18 years. It has not been fulfilled till date.
He said, Congress came to power by promising one lakh jobs every year. This promise has also not been fulfilled. He said that the promise made to farmers to buy milk for Rs 80 and Rs 100 and take cow dung is also incomplete. 300 units away, free electricity being given by the previous government has also stopped
Bindal said that Congress had promised to give 300 units of free electricity during the elections. Forget about 300 units, even the free electricity being provided by the previous government has been stopped, he added.
Institutes opened by the previous government in the state have been shut down. On the contrary, electricity, diesel and water have been made costlier.
