Contractors who do not complete work on time will not get new work: Vikramaditya Singh

Vikramaditya Singh asked opposition leader Jairam Thakur why he had gone to Delhi to thank the central government when not a single penny had come for the disaster. Countering the opposition’s attacks on the guarantees given by Congress, he asked whether the BJP fulfilled the guarantee of giving Rs 15 lakh. As far as Congress is concerned, it will fulfill all the guarantees in five years.

Regarding the negligence being done by the contractors in the road work, Vikramaditya Singh bluntly said that those whose work is pending in the Prime Minister Road Scheme phase one and two, Such contractors will not be given contracts for Pradhan Mantri Sadak Yojana during phase Phase 3. In Himachal, the work of 170 roads in phase one and two under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana is pending.
