Jawali: A dead body of a person was found floating in Banada Patan of Pong Lake under Jawali Police Station. According to the information, fishermen saw the dead body floating in the lake on Thursday night and informed the Jawali Police Station about it.
On receiving the information, Jawali police reached the spot at night and, with the help of local people Mahendra Guleria, Happy Guleria, and Rinku, took out the dead body from the lake. The dead body could not be identified. SP Nurpur Ashok Ratan said that the police found the dead body of an unknown person floating in the lake, which the police took into custody after registering a case and sent for post-mortem. Police is investigating the matter.
