Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Himachal visit today, to take part in many programs

Defense Minister will participate in the program organized under PM Kisan Yojana in Sundernagar.

Indian Institute of Technology-Mandi (IIT Mandi) is all set to celebrate its 16th Foundation Day today, which will be attended by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Rajnath Singh’s presence is expected to underline the important relationship between technology advancement and national security, as well as highlight the role of premier institutions like IIT-Mandi in shaping India’s future. Along with this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will participate in two programs in Mandi district. The first program will be held at IIT Mandi, where Rajnath Singh will participate in the 16th Foundation Day of the institute.

After this program, the Defense Minister will participate in the program organized under PM Kisan Yojana in Sundernagar. During this, he will present Young Faculty Fellow Award, Young Achiever Award, Students Academic Excellence Award and Students Tech Award to the meritorious students of the institute and the teachers and staff doing excellent work. Rajnath Singh will put forth his views on national security and technological innovation. After this he will go to Sundernagar in Mandi. Here Rajnath Singh will participate in the program organized to release the installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

Before attending the program to be held at IIT Kamand, the landing of Rajnath Singh’s helicopter was trialed on Sunday. Air Force helicopters conducted trials at Kamand and Kangnidhar. Kangnidhar was found suitable in the trial. Therefore, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s helicopter can land at Kangnidhar to attend the Foundation Day to be held at IIT Kamand on Monday. Due to this, the carcade of the district police, QRT team conducted its trial on Sunday.
