Delhi agency takes responsibility of Maa Naina Devi’s Dargah

The company will also ensure the arrangement of additional employees in the Navratri fairs.

Bilaspur: Delhi agency will take the responsibility of keeping Maa Naina’s Dargah and the surrounding area neat and clean. The temple trust administration has signed an agreement with the International Institute of Sulabh System (IISS) for one year.

This tender has been awarded for Rs 78 lakh 45 thousand 840. The company will start providing its services from June 15. An area of ​​51 thousand square meters from the temple complex to Toba has been identified. The supervisor of the temple trust will monitor the cleanliness system. Apart from Naina Devi’s property, cleanliness will also be ensured in the paths and trails as well as the surrounding forest.

The important thing is that Naina Devi is the first Shaktipeeth in Himachal Pradesh, where the responsibility of sanitation has been handed over to a reputed agency. In fact, till now the cleaning work in Nainadevi Shaktipeeth was entrusted to the employees appointed on outsource basis by the temple trust administration.

Along with this, employees were also appointed by the Municipal Council from time to time for cleaning work, while during the Navratri fairs, about one hundred and fifty additional employees had to be arranged, but now a permanent arrangement has been made for the cleaning system. In view of the permanent arrangement, the temple trust administration has signed an agreement with the International Institute of Sulabh System. Three renowned companies participated in the online tendering process, in which the company that met the set criteria was awarded the tender.

Temple Trust Chairman and SDM Dharampal Chaudhary said that an agreement has been made with a renowned company of Delhi regarding sanitation. The company’s employees will work 24 hours a day in uniform and all the arrangements from modern machinery for cleaning are the responsibility of the concerned company. The company will also ensure the arrangement of additional employees in the Navratri fairs. He said that Maa Ka Darbar, temple area, building, toilets, langar bhawan, Matrisharanam and Matri Anchal along with all the roads and footpaths of that area and the surrounding forest have also been included, which will be cleaned regularly round the clock.

Nainadevi is the first Shaktipeeth in the state, where the responsibility of cleaning round the clock has been handed over to the International Institute of Sulabh System. The tender has been awarded to the company for one year for Rs 78.45 lakh. The company will ensure to provide services from June 15. The cleaning system of 51 thousand square meter area from temple to Toba will be handed over to the company.

According to the Chairman of the temple trust and SDM Dharmpal Chaudhary, further tender will be awarded on the basis of the performance of the company’s working style. If the work of the agency is found satisfactory in one year as per the rules and the conditions of the trust administration, then the tenure of the agency can be extended for another year. The payment will be released to the company after the monthly audit by the temple trust.
