DGRE issues avalanche warning in four districts of Himachal

The maximum temperature in Bilaspur was recorded at 30 degrees Celsius.

Defence Geoinformatics Research Establishment (DGRE) of the Union Defence Ministry has issued an avalanche warning in Kullu, Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, Chamba as well as Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. On the other hand, about 99 roads in Lahaul Valley and Kullu are still closed due to snowfall. Difficulties persist even after the weather has cleared in both these districts. At the same time, the minimum temperature along with the maximum has also increased in the state. The temperature is likely to increase further in the coming days. The maximum temperature in Bilaspur was recorded at 30 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Centre Shimla, light rain and snowfall may occur at some places on the high mountains on Friday. The weather of the entire state will remain clear from 22 to 25 March. Due to the activation of a fresh western disturbance on 24 March, the weather is forecast to remain bad at some places on 25 and 26 March.

The minimum temperature in Shimla was 10.0, Sundarnagar 8.4, Bhuntar 5.5, Kalpa -0.2, Dharamshala 5.2, Nahan 12.5, Keylong -4.6, Palampur 8.0, Solan 7.6, Manali 3.1, Kangra 9.8, Mandi 9.4, Bilaspur 8.9, Chamba 8.2, Dalhousie 8.2, Kufri 4.3, Kukumseri -2.0, Bharmour 7.0, Seubagh 4.6, Barthin 7.7, Paonta Sahib 14.0, Sarahan 6.3, Tabo -4.7 and Neri recorded 12.9 degrees Celsius.
