Earthquake tremors in Himachal: Mandi was epicenter, intensity measured 3.3 on Richter scale

Mandi: Earthquake tremors were felt in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi city today at around 12.01 pm. Its intensity on the Richter scale was measured at 3.3. Its depth inside the ground was 5 kilometers. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), mild tremors of earthquake were felt in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh at 12.01 pm.

People who felt the tremors came out of their houses. However, due to the low intensity of the tremors, most people could not feel them. Most of the areas of Mandi district fall in Zone 5, which is very sensitive from the earthquake point of view. Therefore, earthquake tremors are felt here repeatedly.
