Mandi: Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri has asked former CM and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur to tell which employee or pensioner did not get a pension. Further targeting him, Agnihotri said that Jairam Thakur only sits in the valleys and makes baseless allegations. Mukesh Agnihotri said this while addressing a public meeting at Bakhli Nature Park in Siraj assembly constituency on Tuesday.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that whatever is situation of the state but employees and pensioners are being paid on time. The Himachal Pradesh government is making big projects for the development of the state.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that this year Himachal Path Parivahan Nigam is going to buy one thousand new buses, out of which 750 buses will be electric. While only 250 buses will be purchased of diesel. These buses will also be 32 seater. He said that there are many such routes where big buses are running and there is a shortage of passengers in them.
Now a plan is being made to run 18 and 22-seater tempo travellers at such places. The corporation is going to buy these tempo travelers. The government has released the amount for the corporation to buy 300 electric buses while the amount for 300 more buses will also be released soon.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that Himachal Pradesh will soon be known for ropeway. The world’s second-largest ropeway is being constructed here which is being built in Shimla at a cost of 1734 crores. Its length will be 14 km and it will provide relief from the traffic problem of entire Shimla.
