Himachal Pradesh: On Wednesday Exchange of postal ballots for all the assembly constituencies of the state will take place in Shimla. For this, a center has been established in a wide field. Postal ballots have been issued from here for all 68 assembly constituencies.
On Wednesday The Election Department said that the exchange of postal ballots of four categories of employees of 68 assembly constituencies will be held at the State Clearance Center on May 22 in the presence of Chief Electoral Officer, Himachal Pradesh Manish Garg.
This information has been given by Returning Officer Anupam Kashyap. He said that in view of the Lok Sabha elections, a State Clearance Center has been set up at ITI Chauda Ground. Exchange of postal ballots for 68 assembly constituencies will take place here on May 22. He said that these employees will include police personnel deployed on election duty, polling personnel, videographers, drivers and conductors of Himachal Road Transport Corporation.
Anupam Kashyap instructed the concerned officials to complete all the preparations for May 22 at the State Clearance Center on time. Additional Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Verma, Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) Ajit Bhardwaj, Project Officer District Rural Development Agency Kirti Chandel, District Planning Officer Dr. Ajay Ratan, besides Tehsildar Election Rajendra Sharma, Naib Tehsildar Kishore Thakur were present in the meeting.
