Shimla, May 26: A fire broke out in a house in Hatkoti in Himachal’s capital, Shimla, this morning. This house is said to be that of a retired officer. According to preliminary information, more than 20 rooms in the four-storey house were burnt to ashes.
According to the information, this fire broke out on the third floor. The flames engulfed the entire house in no time. The loss in this incident is estimated to be in lakhs of rupees. The fire department team is busy extinguishing the fire on the spot.
The fire broke out at 10.30 am
According to the information, a fire broke out in the house around 10:30 am on Monday. This house is said to be of a person named Sundar Lal, resident of Hatkoti. Fortunately, there was no loss of life and it did not affect the nearby houses. Sundar Lal had completed the entire house only four-five months ago.
