Chintapurni: A flood of devotees gathered on the sixth day of the Ashtami fair of the month of Shravan in the religious town of Chintapurni located in the Una district of Himachal Pradesh. A huge increase was recorded in the number of devotees. Due to this the double line of devotees reached the barrier located near the new bus stand in Chintapurni.
It takes 5 to 6 hours for the devotees to have darshan in the double line. There is no lack of enthusiasm among the devotees even amid rain. Devotees are excited to have the darshan of the mother with full dedication. Looking at the entire fair area, it seems as if the entire Chintapurni area has become a mini-Punjabi.
The crowd is expected to increase further in the coming two days. On the other hand, police personnel and cleaning staff have to work hard to maintain order in the fair area. Due to the increasing crowd, the buses on the route are being stopped at Bhanrawai itself.
