Rampur: A giant boulder fell on the road in Lada Nala of Rampur in Himachal Pradesh this morning. A car was hit by it. But due to the driver’s presence of mind, a major accident was averted. As soon as the rock fell on the road, the driver backed the car and saved his life.
A major accident was averted and the driver and another passenger in the car are safe. But the car has suffered a lot of damage. A person standing in front made a video of this incident which is now becoming viral on social media.
According to the information, this incident happened around 9 am on Friday. Big rocks and heavy debris from the hill fell on the road in Lada Nala on Rampur-Taklech road in Shimla. Due to this, the Rampur-Taklech road has been completely closed for vehicular movement. The Public Works Department is engaged in restoring the road and the road is being restored.
Assistant Engineer (SDO) Taklech Shobharam said, the work of removing the debris near Lada Nala along with Khanotu is going on. A car has been damaged due to being hit by it. Both the people in the car are safe. The road will be restored soon.
