Shimla: A case of harassment of a student studying PGDCA in Sunni of Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh has come to light. As per information, the girl faced harassment in a Himachal Path Parivahan Nigam (HRTC) bus. In a complaint given to the police, the student made serious allegations of molestation against two people. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the student and started action. Soon after the investigation, Police arrested both the accused.
According to the police, the student is studying PGDCA from an institute in Shimla. In the complaint given to the police, the student has told that on Wednesday evening she was returning to Sunni from Shimla by 6:40 HRTC bus after class.
During this time, two persons anmely Chaman and Khemraj boarded the bus from near Badman Dhar. The complainant told the police that when the bus reached a place called 18/2, Chaman Prakash got up from the front seat and sat next to her, and started asking the girl for her number and social media (Instagram ID).
When the girl refused to give her mobile number and social media account, he started touching her with dirty intentions. Shortly after Chaman Prakash, Khemraj who was sitting on the middle seat in the bus also got up from there and sat next to the girl. Then both of them molested the girl.
Let us tell you that this is the third case of molestation of girl students in the last 3 days in the state. Earlier, a girl student in a government college in Shimla was molested by a college professor, yesterday a school girl student in a government school in Theog, Shimla was molested by her teacher. Now this is the third case in the city.
