Mandi: Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla arrived on a visit to Mandi. During his visit he went to visit Baba Bhootnath temple with his wife Janaki Shukla. There he performed Rudrabhishek of Baba Bhootnath’s Shivling and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of everyone by performing rituals.
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla reached Mandi last evening. Today he will attend the first convocation of SPU as the chief guest. The convocation ceremony will be organized at Sanskriti Sadan Mandi.
The governor will award degrees to about 311 students. Out of which 36 students will also be given medals. SPU Mandi is organizing its convocation for the first time. SPU was busy preparing for the ceremony for the last month.
Medals will be given to Sakshi Sharma, Heena, Sunayana Thakur, Indubala, Ankita, Isha Kumari, Shivani, Rekha Devi, Simran, Mahak, Ishu Thakur, Meena Kumari, Anjana Keshav, Tek Chand, Ankita, Rakshadevi, Nisha Kumari, Diksha Kumari, Ankita, Abhishek Jaggi, Mona Chauhan, Poonam Shaman, Seema Devi, Tanvi, Pratibha Shaman, Shruti Chauhan, Divya Chauhan, Yashasvi Rajgoud, Namita Negi, Kritika, Jaspreet Singh, Chandesh Chauhan, Yash Mehta, Vikas Thakur, Chinta Devi and Koyla Devi at the convocation ceremony.
