Shimla, May 3: Himachal Pradesh will remain bad for 6 days. Till 8th May, there may be thunderstorms, lightning and hailstorms along with rain. An orange alert warning has been issued in five districts today regarding a hailstorm.
This warning has been issued to Shimla, Solan, Sirmour and Kullu districts. Apart from rain and hailstorm, strong storms can also blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometres per hour. A yellow alert has been issued for rain, storm and hailstorm from May 4 to 8.
The weather in the mountains has become pleasant due to the rain that happened during the last 48 hours. Cold has returned in the high altitude areas. The minimum temperature in 6 cities of the state has fallen below 10 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature of Tabo has fallen to 5.6 degrees Celsius.
In many places, the temperature is 13 degrees below normal
The minimum temperature of Keylong is 7 degrees, Kalpa 7.6, Kufri 9.4 degrees, Kukumsari 7.6 degrees and Narkanda is 8.4 degrees. Similarly, the maximum temperature of the state has also fallen 5 degrees below normal. Due to the change in weather, the maximum temperature of many cities has fallen below normal by up to 13 degrees Celsius.
Solan’s mercury dropped by 12.5 degrees in 24 hours
The maximum temperature of Solan has dropped to 18.0 degrees after falling 12.5 degrees below normal. The temperature of Solan has dropped by 11 degrees in just 24 hours. The temperature of Chamba has also dropped to 26.4 degrees after falling 10.0 degrees below normal.
The mercury of Mandi-Bilaspur also dropped by 7.2 degrees
The maximum temperature of Mandi has also dropped by 7.2 degrees from the normal to 25.6 degrees, Bilaspur has dropped by 7.2 degrees to 28.5 degrees, Shimla’s temperature has dropped by 4.7 degrees to 19.0 degrees and Manali’s temperature has dropped by 2.4 degrees from the normal to 21.5 degrees. After the rain in the mountains, the weather has turned cold in the high altitude areas. Whereas the weather has become pleasant in the plains and medium altitude areas.
