Shimla: The Hati community living in Giripar of Sirmaur in Himachal has demanded the state government to implement the central law soon. Hati Vikas Manch has given an ultimatum to the government till Diwali. If the law is not implemented till Diwali, then Hatis will take to the streets and protest, the responsibility of which will be on the state government.
Hati Vikas Manch warned the state Congress government by holding a press conference in Shimla. Ramesh Singta said that the state government is deliberately delaying the implementation of the law made to give tribal status to the Hati community of Sirmaur district. The government is insulting the Constitution and Parliament. He also met the Chief Minister but now the phase of talks is over. Now the Hati community will take to the streets against the government.
Ramesh Singta said that the Hati community has given time till Diwali to the government, if this law is not implemented till Diwali then the Hati community will take to the streets and knock on the doors of His Excellency. Ramesh Singta said that if the SC community does not want to become a part of ST, then it is their wish and the Hati community has no objection in it. But those who have been given this gift by the Central Government. Implement the law for them as soon as possible, so that the beneficiaries can also take advantage of it.
