Heat wave in 5 districts of Himachal, temperature reached 44.2 degrees in Una; weather will change from this day

According to the Meteorological Center Shimla, there is a yellow alert of rain and thunderstorm from 13 to 15 June

Himachal was hit by a heat wave for the second day on Tuesday. Five districts of the state, Una, Kullu, Mandi, Hamirpur, and Bilaspur had to bear the heat wave. The maximum temperature of Una in the state has reached 44.2 degrees Celsius, the highest. The maximum temperature of Hamirpur’s Neri, Kullu, Mandi, Bilaspur, Kangra has crossed 40 and Shimla has reached close to 30. There is a yellow alert of a heat wave in four to six districts on Wednesday and Thursday. According to the Meteorological Center Shimla, there is a yellow alert of rain and thunderstorm from 13 to 15 June.

There is a possibility of a heat wave in four districts of the state, Una, Hamirpur, Kullu and Mandi on Wednesday, while on Thursday in Una, Hamirpur, Kullu, Mandi, Kangra, and Solan. There is a possibility of the temperature rising by two to three degrees in these areas. Due to the scorching heat in Una, the markets remained empty during the afternoon. People are carrying clothes on their heads and women are carrying a dupatta or an umbrella.

On Tuesday, the temperature was two to three degrees higher than the previous 24 hours. Tourists who had come to the capital, Shimla, also got coolness only in the morning and evening.

Neri in Hamirpur had the highest minimum temperature of 29.3 degrees Celsius in the state. Paonta Sahib had 28.0, Dehradun Gopipur had 27.0, and Una had a mercury of 22.8 degree Celsius.
