Dr. Surendra Pal, Director of Meteorological Center Shimla, said that usually monsoon reaches the state between 22 to 25 June. This time there has been a slight delay due to cyclone Remal in the month of May. He said that the pressure of winds blowing from the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea is also not being built. Due to this, the monsoon had stopped in the middle. But with the entry in the next two to three days, there will be good rain.

There will be heavy rain for 3 days

The entry of monsoon will also be good and there is a forecast of good rain in July as well. After the entry of monsoon, heavy rains may occur in Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Kangra, Kullu, Chamba, Hamirpur, Bilaspur and Mandi from 28 to 30 June. In view of this, a yellow alert has been issued.
