Shimla: Monsoon may enter Himachal within the next two-three days. This time monsoon will reach the state three to four days late. There are three reasons for the delayed entry of monsoon. The reason is low pressure of winds blowing from the oceans and third reason is weak.
Dr. Surendra Pal, Director of Meteorological Center Shimla, said that usually monsoon reaches the state between 22 to 25 June. This time there has been a slight delay due to cyclone Remal in the month of May. He said that the pressure of winds blowing from the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea is also not being built. Due to this, the monsoon had stopped in the middle. But with the entry in the next two to three days, there will be good rain.
There will be heavy rain for 3 days
The entry of monsoon will also be good and there is a forecast of good rain in July as well. After the entry of monsoon, heavy rains may occur in Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Kangra, Kullu, Chamba, Hamirpur, Bilaspur and Mandi from 28 to 30 June. In view of this, a yellow alert has been issued.
Monsoon arrived on 4 July in the year 2002
Monsoon has arrived late in the state many times before. In the year 2002, the monsoon arrived in Himachal on 4 July. Talking about last year, monsoon reached Himachal on 24 June. In the year 2019, 2017 also, monsoon has knocked in the month of July.
Una is still scorching at 41.4 degrees
Before the entry of monsoon in Himachal, pre-monsoon rains have been happening at some places for the last two days. But today the weather is forecast to be clear in most areas. Due to this, heat will be felt in the plains even today. Currently, the temperature of Una is 41.4 degrees Celsius.
