Shimla, May 30: Himachal Pradesh’s capital, Shimla, witnessed heavy rain and a hailstorm in the morning. Due to this, school children had trouble reaching school and working people had trouble reaching the office. The roads of the city were flooded with water.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan, Bilaspur, Una, Hamirpur and Mandi districts till 12 noon.
The weather will remain bad in the state till June 4. Yesterday, an orange alert was issued in Kangra, Kullu, Mandi and Chamba districts, while the day before yesterday, an orange alert was issued in Shimla district along with these four districts. Similarly, a yellow alert has been issued till June 4.
Clouds rained at many places in Mandi
On Friday, many areas of Mandi district received rain in the morning. At many places in Mandi, storms also blew at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

The weather is expected to worsen further on May 31. An orange alert has been issued in Chamba, Kangra, Kullu and Mandi districts on this day. The wind speed in these districts can reach 50 to 60 kilometers per hour. According to the Meteorological Department, this situation may persist till June 2.
