The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in 6 districts tomorrow and the day after. This warning has been given to Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Lahaul Spiti and Kinnaur districts. There is a forecast of storm with a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour along with heavy rain in these districts.

There is a possibility of rain in 9 districts even today

Even today, except Sirmaur, Bilaspur and Hamirpur, all other districts may experience light rain and storm. According to the Meteorological Department, the Western Disturbance will weaken from June 5. But it may rain in most parts for the next 72 hours.

Chamba’s mercury fell 14.5 degrees below normal

This can cause a drop of four to five degrees in temperature. The temperature in most cities of the state is already below normal. In such a situation, the temperature will drop further after heavy rain and storm. The maximum drop of 14.5 degrees has been recorded in Chamba’s temperature.

Temperature in Keylong drops to 9.4 degrees below normal

The maximum temperature of Keylong has also dropped by 9.4 degrees to 12.4 degrees, while the temperature of Kalpa has dropped by 2.4 degrees to 19.2 degrees Celsius. The temperature of other cities has also decreased. Due to this, there is almost no heat in the mountains this time.
