According to the weather department, the weather will remain bad in the state for the next 6 days. During this period, rain is expected in most parts of the state. Heavy rain is forecast especially in the lower and medium high areas on 20 and 21 June.

The weather department has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms for the next 6 days. During this time, storms can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour in many areas. This will also reduce the temperature during the next five-six days.

Temperature drops after rain

At the same time, good rain has occurred in many areas during the last 24 hours. Kangra has received the maximum rainfall of 34 mm. Heavy rain has occurred in many parts of Shimla, Kullu, Sirmaur district. Due to this, the temperature of most cities has dropped. The temperature of many cities has dropped by 5 degrees in just 24 hours.

Relief from heat as temperature drops

The temperature of Dhaula Kuan has dropped to 32.0 degrees after a drop of 5.1 degrees in a single day. The temperature of Kalpa has also dropped to 22.4 degrees after a drop of 4.9 degrees, Solan’s temperature has dropped to 31.4 degrees after a drop of 3.2 degrees, Bilaspur’s temperature has dropped to 35.4 degrees after a drop of 3 degrees and Una’s temperature has dropped to 39.8 degrees after a drop of 2.4 degrees. Due to this the weather has become pleasant in the mountains and people have got relief from the heat.

Pleasant weather at tourist spots

The weather has become pleasant after the rain at the tourist places of the state. The maximum temperature of Manali is 26.7 degrees Celsius, Shimla 27.0 degrees, Narkanda 20.9, Kufri 22.6 degrees and Kasauli 28.7 degrees.
