6,297 pre-primary teachers will be recruited in Himachal Pradesh through 14 private companies. The State Electronics Corporation has selected companies to make recruitments on the basis of the education block. Companies will now issue block-wise advertisements to recruit pre-primary teachers. The recruitment process can start from the first week of June. Himachalis aged between 21 and 45 years who have scored 50 percent marks in class XII will be eligible for recruitment. Those who have done nursery teacher training will get priority in recruitment. Selected teachers will get a monthly remuneration of Rs 10,000.
The State Electronics Corporation has issued instructions to allocate work to outsourced companies to recruit teachers. These recruitments will be done through companies registered with the Government of India. The recruitment process has been going on in files since the time of the previous government. Last year, the Congress government had started the recruitment, but the matter got stuck due to the decision of the Himachal High Court to ban recruitment on outsourcing. Now the Supreme Court has stayed the decision of the High Court. The government has given the designation of Early Childhood Care and Education Instructor to the teachers recruited in schools with nursery and KG classes.
There should be a diploma in nursery teacher education, pre-school education, early childhood education program (minimum two years) or B.Ed (Nursery) from a recognized institute. There will be a relaxation of five percent in qualifying marks for SC, ST, OBC, PWD candidates. Candidates who have passed class XII from institutions outside Himachal Pradesh will be required to be genuine Himachali.

This includes agency charges, GST, other expenses. The instructors will work under the supervision of the most senior teacher of the school while being under the overall control of the Deputy Director of School Education in each district. No instructor can be released from demobilization without the approval of the government. Transfers can be done in consultation with the Director of Primary Education due to enrollment difference or administrative reasons.
