Himachal CM Sukhu gives Rs 1500 each to eligible women in Kupvi

Chief Minister Sukhu said that Rs 4500 each would be deposited in the accounts of 2100 eligible women of the area for the three months of January, February and March.

Kupvi: Himachal Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu distributed Rs 1500 each to eligible women under the Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana in Kupvi of Shimla district today. During this, Chief Minister Sukhu said that Rs 4500 each would be deposited in the accounts of 2100 eligible women of the area for the three months of January, February and March.

CM Sukhu said that due to the backward area, the rules will be changed to give the amount of Rs 1500 to women. Due to this, women will get this amount every month. He said that women in the area will start getting this amount regularly soon.

While addressing the public meeting, the Chief Minister said, the government has decided to appoint guest teachers to overcome the shortage of teachers in schools in remote areas. He said, when teachers are transferred or retire in remote areas, the schools remain vacant for many days. In such schools, the government has decided to bring a guest teacher policy and authorize the principal to keep guests, so that the studies of the children are not affected.

During this time, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development schemes in Kupvi area.

Chief Minister Sukhu will stay in Kupvi area tonight. During this time he will listen to the problems of the local people. Earlier, CM Sukhu has also stayed at a person’s house in the remote area Dodra Kwar.
