Approval to release the pending results for 713 posts

The cabinet approved the release of the long pending results for 713 posts of seven post codes. The decision to release the results was taken on the recommendation of the cabinet sub-committee.

Giving information about the cabinet decision, Industry Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan said that the cabinet has approved the declaration of results for 66 posts of Steno Typist in Post Code 928, 82 posts of Secretariat Clerk in Post Code 962, 11 posts of JE in Forest Department in Post Code 970, 186 posts of Lineman in Electricity Board in Post Code 971, 314 posts of Drawing Master in Post Code 980, 11 posts of Market Supervisor in Post Code 77 and 43 posts of Fireman in Post Code 916.

State Selection Commission will declare the result

The Cabinet approved upgradation of 16 sanctioned posts of Assistant Professor to Associate Professor in various departments in Dental College Shimla. Approval was also given for creation and filling of eight posts in various categories along with starting of B.Tech (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) and B.Tech (Computer Science) courses in Rajiv Gandhi Engineering College, Nagrota Bagwan, Kangra.

The Cabinet decided to start B.Tech (Civil Engineering) course at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Engineering and Technology Institute, Pragatinagar in Shimla district and a new diploma course, Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) at Government Polytechnic College Sundernagar, Mandi.

The meeting decided to set up a Department of Nuclear Medicine at Lal Bahadur Shastri Medical College, Nerchowk in Mandi district. It also approved the creation and filling of posts including Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Resident Doctor, Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Radiation Safety Officer.
