Shimla: In Himachal Pradesh, the Panchayati Raj Department has released funds for the construction of 90 Panchayat buildings. After the release of funds, the construction work of Gram Panchayat buildings has also started. About Rs 1.14 crore is coming for one Gram Panchayat. The department has released money in crores of rupees for construction work. Along with this, the contractors constructing the building have been asked to complete the work quickly.
The special thing is that now all the Panchayat buildings to be built in the state will be built on a pattern. For this, the design and drawing have been given by the department itself. No one will be able to make anything outside the drawing.
The windows and doors will be of UPVC. At the same time, a building is being constructed on the same pattern in Jabli Panchayat of Development Block Dharmpur of District Solan. The building has been named Gram Panchayat Community Center. However, other offices will also be opened along with this Panchayat Bhawan. At present, the construction work here is going on with an amount of about Rs 47 lakh, while the provision of another budget will also be made soon. The Panchayat is preparing to inaugurate the new building in April.
The contractor has been ordered to complete the work soon. Jabli Panchayat will soon get its own building. The building is being designed according to the given pattern. About 90 Panchayat buildings will be constructed in this manner in the state.
