Shimla: Programs are being organized at various places on International Yoga Day in Himachal Pradesh. The state level program is going on at the Ridge in Shimla. Many ministers and other dignitaries in the state government including Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla did yoga.
Apart from Shimla, programs are also being held at all district headquarters and block level, where hundreds of people are doing yoga together today. Special programs are being organized on Yoga Day by the Ayurvedic institutions of the state.
Yoga Day also at North Portal of Atal Tunnel
International Yoga Day is also being celebrated in all the three sub-divisions of tribal district Lahaul Spiti, Kaza, Keylong and Udaipur. District AYUSH Officer Dr. Banita Sharma said that the district level International Yoga Day program is being organized at Atal Tunnel North Portal.
BJP is also celebrating Yoga Day
Bharatiya Janata Party is also celebrating Yoga Day at every divisional level. In this, all the District Presidents, District Coordinators and Mandal Presidents have participated as the coordinators of this program in their respective Mandals.
