Shimla: Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla has issued a notification convening the budget session of the Vidhan Sabha from March 10 today. This notification was issued on the recommendation of the cabinet. The budget session will have 15 meetings and will begin with the Governor’s address on March 10.
The Vidhan Sabha has also issued a notification convening the budget session. Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Pathania said that with the issuance of the formal notification, MLAs can now start filing their questions to be raised during the session.
The Chief Minister will present the budget for 2025-26 on March 17. He said that March 22 and 27 have been fixed as Private Member Day, when MLAs can raise public issues related to their constituencies.
