The Meteorological Department has issued a heat-wave alert for today in seven districts: Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Kangra, Mandi, Solan and Sirmaur.

During this period, there may be severe heat at some places. In view of this, an advisory has been issued to the people to take precautions.

Yellow alert of heat wave in 10 districts from tomorrow

Yellow alert of heat wave has been issued in all 10 districts except Lahaul Spiti and Kinnaur districts for 3 days from tomorrow 27th May. During this period the temperature will rise by two to three degrees. The temperature in Una has already reached 43 degrees Celsius. There may be a rise today due to bright sunshine.

The temperature of 3 cities crossed 40 degrees, 10 crossed 35 degrees.
