There is a local bus stand at a distance of a few meters from the Gurudwara, from where buses run for suburbs like Maihli, Panthaghati, New Shimla, BCS, Navbahar, Dhali, Sanjauli, Chota Shimla etc.

A dozen houses in danger in Krishnanagar
The concern of the people of Krishnanagar has increased as soon as the monsoon started. Last year, during heavy rains, 5 houses including the slaughterhouse collapsed in Krishnanagar. Two people also died due to the collapse of the slaughterhouse. During that time, more than a dozen houses were evacuated here.

However, no one lives in them now, but as soon as the rains started, these houses have come under threat. If the evacuated houses in the next row collapse, then it will also pose a threat to the houses in the previous row. Sensing this danger, the local administration has put tarpaulin in front of the houses that have become dangerous.
