In Himachal Pradesh, both the wheels of a moving HRTC bus suddenly came off along with the axle. The bus belonged to Rampur depot and the incident happened near Nimla. There were 13 passengers in the bus including the driver and conductor, who narrowly escaped death.
The incident happened on Wednesday morning, when the bus of Rampur depot was going from Dalash to Aani via Shush. Near Nimla, suddenly both the rear wheels of the bus came off along with the axle and the bus stopped there. No one was injured in this incident.
Local people allege that the Rampur depot of HRTC is often sending old and poorly conditioned buses to Aani area. Just a week and a half ago, a similar incident had happened on the Luhri Khegsu road, where the front wheel of a moving bus came off. At that time also a major accident was averted due to the alertness of the driver.
