Shimla: The body of a jeweller has been found in a suspicious condition from a rented house in Nerwa, a remote area of Shimla district in Himachal Pradesh. In the initial investigation, it seems to be a case of murder. According to the police, both the hands of the deceased were tied with rope. He was thrown into the water drum. Deep wounds were found on his head and body.
Police have registered the case and started investigation. The deceased has been identified as Gagan Singh (56), a resident of Shishani village in East Champaran, Bihar. SHO Jayant Karan Gautam said that the forensic team has been called today to collect evidence from the spot.
Reason Of Murder Not Clear
The reasons for Gagan’s murder have not been known yet. Gagan Singh used to run a jewellery shop in Nerwa market. His body was found in a suspicious condition in a rented house. There is blood splatter inside the house.
According to the police, Gagan’s son Vishal called Gagan repeatedly this morning, but Gagan did not pick up the phone. After this Vishal called his acquaintance Chhote Lal. When Chhote Lal reached Gagan’s house, Gagan’s blood soaked body was lying there. Chhote Lal informed the police about this. The police immediately took possession of the body and started investigation.
