Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission to start recruitment process for various post codes

This includes various posts including JBT, JOA, and IT.

Shimla: The new recruitment examinations are expected to start soon through the single window system. At the same time, the recruitment process for 1,423 posts under 80 postcodes is also expected to move forward now. This will be a big relief for thousands of youth in the state who have been waiting for recruitment for two years.

The state government is also preparing to give at least two years of relaxation in the maximum age limit to the eligible candidates for the recruitments advertised during the Staff Selection Commission, which was dissolved last year. In this regard, the State Selection Commission has sent a proposal to the state government. It is expected that a decision will be taken on this in the new year. A total of 1,423 posts will be recruited in various departments of the state in 80 postcodes.

This includes various posts including JBT, JOA, and IT. The maximum number of posts, around 400, will be filled for JBT. With the start of the recruitment process, the wait for the youth for employment will end. On the other hand, Vikram Mahajan, Secretary of Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission, said that the recruitment processes started earlier have almost been completed.

The recruitment process for 80 postcodes will be started soon after receiving instructions from the government. He said that the agency for the Computer Based Test i.e. CBT will also be finalized soon. Also, the pilot recruitment commission had done it through the EdCIL agency to fill the posts of OTA, but now the state government is looking for another agency so that more budget is not spent in organizing the examinations.
