Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) has announced a discount of up to 40 percent in its hotels. According to the order issued by the corporation on Sunday evening, this discount will be available throughout the winter season from January 3 to April 15.
Tourists from all over the country will be able to take advantage of this. There has been snowfall in the high regions of the state these days and snowfall is expected in the coming days. Tourists from all over the country visit the mountains to see this. In such a situation, tourists can take advantage of the discounts in the corporation’s hotels.
After a 40% discount, a room worth Rs 5000 will now be available for Rs 3000, after a 30% discount it will be available for Rs 3500. Similarly, after a 30% discount, a room worth Rs 2000 will be available for Rs 1600, and after 40% discount, a room worth Rs 2000 will be available for Rs 1200.
Till January 2, the corporation’s hotels were running completely packed at most locations in the state. Due to this, there was no discount in most hotels. But now after the decrease in the number of tourists, the corporation has announced a discount. The corporation has decided to give a discount of 20 to 40 percent.
The Tourism Corporation has more than 56 hotels in different areas of the state. Discount will not be available only in 6 of these hotels. Similarly, during the Chhaiyu Festival in Rewalsar, from March 6 to March 10, discounts will not be available in Tourist Inn Rewalsar Hotel.
