Cyber attack on HPU

Let us tell you, on opening the main website of the university, hpuniv.ac.in at 4 pm on Monday, indecent comments and photos in support of Pakistan and against India were seen in it. As soon as the information was received, the university administration swung into action and closed the site and put it on maintenance mode.

At the same time, the cybercrime cell took cognizance of the matter and started an investigation in this regard.

The university’s website in-charge Shashi Dogra admitted that the website was tampered with. These days, complaints of tampering with the websites of educational institutions are being received. The URL has been changed. Due to this, the person using the website, instead of going to the institute’s site, goes to the URL address entered by the hacker and posts his message.
