Chamba: Preparations have been completed for the International Minjar Mela to be held from 28 July to 4 August in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh. Three Bollywood, three Punjabi, and two Himachali nights will be organized in the International Minjar Fair. State Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla will be present on the occasion of the inauguration of this fair and chief guest Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will be present on the occasion of closing ceremony.
Javed Ali will be the main attraction in the last cultural evening of Minjar Fair. Apart from this, other artists of Star Nights will include Master Salim, Afsana Khan, Shivjyot, and Nikita Gandhi. Cultural presentations of prominent artists of Himachal will also be the center of attraction in each cultural evening.
Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal said that a total of 22 prominent Himachali artists from other districts of the state including Chamba district will entertain the people in various cultural evenings of Minjar Fair because Minjar Fair has international fame, so this time an effort is also being made to include international presentations in the fair.
He said that this time the first cultural evening of the fair will be dedicated to the martyrs, in which the family members of the martyrs and brave women from different parts of the district will be specially invited and honoured. Javed Ali will be the main attraction in the last cultural evening of the Minjar fair. Apart from this, the names of other Star Nights artists include Master Salim, Afsana Khan, Shivjyot and Nikita Gandhi.
