Shimla: After the winter season in Himachal Pradesh, the rainfall in March was 33 percent less than normal. The normal rainfall in the state is 113.4 mm from 1st to 31st March, but this time, only 75.6 mm of rain fell.
Except Mandi and Kullu, all other districts have received less than normal rainfall. Mandi has received 5 percent more rain than normal and Kullu has received 17 percent more rain. There is no possibility of good rain even for the next week.
On April 3, there may be light drizzle in some high altitude areas. But the weather will remain clear in most parts. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there may be light rain and snowfall in some areas of Chamba, Kullu, Kangra, Lahaul Spiti and Kinnaur districts.
Temperature will rise by 4 degrees
According to IMD, the minimum and maximum temperatures will rise by 2 to 4 degrees in the next one week. In most cities of the state, the maximum temperature is already 2.3 degrees higher than normal. Especially in Bhuntar, the temperature has reached 29.6 degrees Celsius, 5.1 degrees higher than normal.

The temperature of Shimla has also increased to 23.0 degrees with 4.1 degrees more than normal, the temperature of Manali has increased to 23.1 degrees with 3.6 degrees more, the temperature of Kalpa has increased to 18.3 degrees with 3.8 degrees more and the temperature of Kangra has increased to 30.7 degrees Celsius with 3.0 degrees more than normal. It will increase further during the next 72 hours.
