Shimla: The heat wave has started increasing in Himachal. The temperature of 4 cities of the state has crossed 30 degrees Celsius. The temperature of Una has reached 34.2 degrees Celsius, 4.1 degrees more than normal. This is the highest temperature of this season in any city of the state.
In Kullu, the maximum temperature of Bhuntar has increased by 5.7 degrees as compared to normal and the temperature here has reached 29.0 degrees Celsius. The temperature of Bilaspur has also increased by 4.1 degrees to 31 degrees.
According to the weather department, there may be a slight drop in temperature after 2 days. Western disturbance is becoming active in the state from March 25. But its effect will be visible only in the higher regions of Chamba and Lahaul Spiti.
Western disturbance will be more active on 27 March
There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in Chamba, Kinnaur, Lahaul Spiti and Kullu districts on 26 March. On 27 March, except the plains, there may be rain and snowfall in medium and high altitude areas. The weather is forecast to be clear across the state from 28 March.
16% less rain and snowfall than normal in March
There was good rain and snowfall in the first week of March in the state. But the second and third week were dry. Due to this, till March 23, the state has received 16 percent less rain and snowfall than normal. The normal rainfall in the state from 1 to 23 March is 90.2 mm, but this time 75.8 mm of rain has fallen.
