Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation has decided to give a discount of 20 to 40 percent in its hotels during the monsoon season. This discount will be available in all the hotels of the corporation except Hotel Chandrabhaga in Keylong, The Spiti in Kaza, Kinnar Kailash in Kalpa, Hotel Suket, Willy Park, Champak, and Hamir Hotel.
This discount will be available from 15 July to 12 September. In the month of June, at the end of the summer season, the occupancy in the corporation’s hotels is up to 60 percent. Discount will be available in the corporation’s hotels located in most areas of the state including Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala, Dalhousie, Kasauli and Chamba. The rate list and other information of all the hotels will be available on the website of the Tourism Corporation.
The Managing Director of the Corporation, Dr. Rajiv Kumar, said that tourists are being given a discount of 20 to 40 percent on booking till September 12. There will be no discount at Hotel Iravati, Champak during Minjar fair from 27 July to 3 August and at Hotel Gaurikund in Bharmour during Manimahesh Yatra from 11 August to 1 September.
He said that up to 40% discount will be given at Rose Common in Kasauli, Hotel Hatu, Chail Palace and Annex in Narkanda, The Golf Glade in Naldehra, Hotel Manimahesh, Geetanjali in Dalhousie and Hotel Apple Blossom in Fagu. 20% discount will be given at Chanshal in Rohru, Hotel Baghal, Bushahr Regency in Rampur, Tourist Inn in Rewalsar, Hotel Silvermoon and Sarvari in Kullu, Hotel Shrikhand in Sarahan and Hotel Rohtang Manalsu in Manali.
