Due to increasing heat in the plains and weekend holidays, a large number of tourists are turning to Himachal to get some coolness. The cold valleys of the state have become crowded with tourists. On Friday, a large number of tourists from outside states turned to Himachal. This trend continued on Saturday as well.

The occupancy in the hotels of the capital Shimla, has reached more than 70 percent. Along with this, many hotels in the tourist places adjoining the city are also running packed. According to tourism businessmen, occupancy in the city is continuously increasing due to advance booking in hotels. The occupancy in hotels was up to 80 percent last weekend.
Occupancy has also increased in the tourist places, Kasauli and Chail inthe Solan district. While the occupancy in Kasauli is being reported to be up to 90 percent, this figure has reached more than 70 percent in Chail. The nearest and favourite places for tourists are Kasauli, Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala and Chail. Where there is a crowd of tourists every weekend.
On the other hand, Hotel Association Chail’s President Devendra Verma said that occupancy has increased in Chail on weekends. Tourists have turned to Himachal due to holidays. Occupancy is expected to increase in the coming days as well. Hotel and Restaurant Association’s Vice President Prince Kukreja said that the change in the weather has fulfilled the expectations of tourists. Advance booking has increased along with inquiries in the city’s hotels. It is expected that the number of tourists will increase in the coming days.
