Shimla, May 22: There is a possibility of rain in Himachal Pradesh for the next 6 days. Especially from 24 to 27 May, i.e. for 4 days, there may be thunderstorms and hailstorms along with heavy rains in some areas. The Meteorological Center has issued an orange alert in 8 districts regarding this.
This warning has been issued to Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi and Shimla districts. Strong storms with a speed of 50 to 60 kilometres per hour are forecast in these districts. Hailstorms can also damage crops in many parts. Yellow alert warning has been issued in four other districts.
The weather is forecast to be clear in most parts today
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is forecast to remain clear in most parts of the state today, but light rain may occur in some areas of Kangra, Chamba, Shimla, Kinnaur, Kullu and Mandi. Western disturbance will be more active from tomorrow. This may cause light rain in most parts. There are forecasts of good rain in the entire state from the day after tomorrow.
After the rain, the temperature of many cities dropped
During the last 24 hours, there has been good rainfall in many parts of the state. Due to this, the maximum temperature has decreased by 3 degrees Celsius and people have got relief from the heat.
The temperature of Shimla has dropped by 1.2 degrees to 26.4 degrees, Dharamsala has dropped by 1.1 degrees to 33.0 degrees, Nahan has dropped by 0.6 degrees to 33.3 degrees, Solan has dropped by 1.6 degrees to 32.0, Manali has dropped by 0.8 degrees to 27.6 degrees.
At the same time, the temperature of Una, which is adjacent to Punjab, has reached 41 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of getting relief from heat in Una also during the next five-six days.
Bad weather in Shimla today
The sky in Shimla is cloudy since morning. This has made the weather pleasant. Apart from Shimla, light clouds are also present in some areas of Solan and Sirmaur districts.
