Especially Chamba, Kangra and Mandi districts have been warned on 23rd and Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur districts on 24th May. There will be rain in medium altitude areas on 25th and 26th May as well. On this day, light snowfall may also occur on the higher mountains of Chamba and Lahaul Spiti.
Rain has also occurred in many areas of the state during the last 24 hours. Nichar received 12.0 mm rainfall, Sangla received 11.4 mm rainfall, Kukumsari received 9.6 mm rainfall, Kalpa received 6.0 mm rainfall, Rekong Peon received 3.0 mm rainfall, Nainadevi received 2.0 mm rainfall and Keylong received 1.5 mm rainfall.
Rain brings relief from heat in many cities

The temperature in Bilaspur also fell by 2.1 degrees to 37.5 degrees and the temperature in Neri fell by 1.3 degrees to 37.7 degrees.
