Himachal weather: Snowfall in March; tourists flock to enjoy pleasant weather

Kullu and Lahaul Spiti districts have received fresh snowfall in the past week. Due to this, there is a huge crowd of tourists these days at tourist places like Solang Nala, Koksar, Atal Tunnel Rohtang to South, North Portal and Hamta Pass. Good snow will be seen in Koksar, Rohtang Tunnel and Solang Nala for the next 15 to 20 days.

The heat has started increasing in the plains of the country. In such a situation, the mountains of Himachal also start getting hot on 20 March. But this time snow has fallen on the higher mountains of Himachal even in the third week of March. Due to this, tourists are enjoying the cold and snow on the mountains even in the third week of March.

These 4 roads are closed

In Lahaul Spiti district, Darcha-Shinkula road (towards Kargir), Darcha-Sarchu, Koksar-Manali via Rohtang, Koksar-Losar (via Kunjam) road are still closed. Apart from these, the administration is claiming to restore all the roads.

Snowfall in higher reaches today

The good thing is that the weather in the mountains has become pleasant these days. There is a possibility of light snowfall in some high altitude areas of Chamba, Kinnaur and Lahaul Spiti today. But from tomorrow onwards, the sun will shine all over the state for the next four days.

There will be relief from cold even in higher regions

On the other hand, the weather will remain completely clear in the plains and medium altitude areas of the state for the next five to six days. This will lead to a rise in temperature and people in higher areas will also get relief from cold.
