Hariman told that he started research on new variety in the year 1999. He got success in the seventh year i.e. 2006. At that time no one believed him. In the year 2007, he presented apple and mango fruits to the then Chief Minister in the Secretariat. After this, the then Chief Minister held a meeting of horticulture officials. In this, he told everyone that apples are being grown in warm regions as well.
