HIPA will be known in the name of Manmohan Singh: CM Sukhu made announcement

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh presided over the program organized on the 51st foundation day of HIPA on Wednesday.

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) will now be known by the name of former Prime Minister of the country, late Dr. Manmohan Singh. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu announced this on Wednesday on the 51st foundation day of HIPA. This is the first announcement in the country after the death of former PM Manmohan Singh.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh presided over the program organized on the 51st foundation day of HIPA on Wednesday. He inaugurated the newly constructed auditorium and building at HIPA. During this, CM Sukhu addressed the employees of the institute and the representatives of the three-day training camp of special educators and mainstream teachers going on there.

CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that former Prime Minister late Dr. Manmohan Singh was a great economist and was also the Finance Minister of the country. He changed the system in the country. His policies strengthened the country’s economy and today the country stands with respect all over the world.

He added that this institute is a premium institute, IAS, HAS officers take training from here and after taking training they take the policies of the government to the public. Therefore, this institute will be named after former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh. It will soon be brought to the cabinet for approval.
