Bharmour: A house caught fire in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district on Saturday morning. A house was completely burnt to ashes in the fire that broke out at 6 am in Machhetar, Holi. Two other houses nearby were also partially damaged.
An Alto car parked on the roadside was also reduced to ashes due to the fire in the residential house. Vichitra Ram’s house was completely destroyed in this fire incident and the family lost their roof in the winter season. The loss in this fire incident is estimated to be in lakhs of rupees.
The fire brigade brought it under control
The houses of Kaka Ram and Bablu Ram were also damaged in this fire. As soon as the local people informed the fire department about this, fire engines reached the spot and stopped the fire from spreading. But the wooden house of Vichitra Singh could not be saved. The local administration has reached the spot and is engaged in assessing the damage.
