HP Assembly winter session begins in Dharamshala, NEVA app launched

On the first day of the session, the Chief Minister and the Leader of the Opposition launched the National e-Vidhan System (neva) App in the State Vidhan Sabha.

Dharamshala: The national e-Vidhan system was launched in the fourteenth Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha. It has been changed from e-Vidhan to National e-Vidhan.

The winter session of Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha started at 11 am today. The Speaker of the State Vidhan Sabha addressed the House and thanked everyone for attending the winter session. This is the seventh session of the 14th Vidhan Sabha. He urged the ruling party and the opposition to participate in the proceedings of the House keeping in mind the tradition and dignity of the House and the proceedings of the House began with the national anthem.

The Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha talked about the changes and facilities brought by the e-system during this period. He said that Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha is now shifting from e-Vidhan Sabha to neva app, which will bring transparency in work along with many other facilities and this app will save paper, which will also protect the environment. During this, the Leader of the Opposition also praised the facilities available in the Neva app.

The Chief Minister said in his address that the state assembly has been connected to e-Vidhan Sabha for the last ten years, but many facilities will be available in the Neva app and the proceedings of the state assembly can also be seen at the national level. Through this app, the proceedings of other states can also be seen.

Let us tell you that Himachal Pradesh became the first state in the country to start the e-Vidhan system and now the proceedings of Himachal Pradesh Assembly can be seen in the Neva app, which the Chief Minister officially announced in Dharamshala.

MLA Randhir Sharma moved a work stoppage proposal under Rule 67, on which the Chief Minister accepted the discussion and the Speaker of the Assembly gave permission. In this discussion began on the two-year tenure of the government and corruption. In the discussion, MLA Randhir Sharma said that during the celebration of two years, the government targeted the opposition instead of describing its achievements.

When the discussion started again, MLA Randhir Sharma said that there are many corruption cases but the government is definitely investigating the Chief Minister’s samosa. He alleged that the Chief Minister’s favourites bought land at low prices and sold the same land to HRTC at higher prices. He alleged that the brother-in-law of an MLA is being given land on lease in Kangra district headquarters to set up a petrol pump while the formalities have not been completed. During this, he accused the corporation of deliberately showing 18 hotels in loss. He alleged that the Chief Minister approved giving these hotels to private hands.
