HRTC will run extra special buses on Diwali. Earlier it was decided that 100 special buses will be run but seeing the huge demand now 155 buses will be run. The buses are already full in the online booking. These buses will run on 29 and 30 October, after which they will also be sent on 2 and 3 November as per the requirement. On 30 October, 60 special buses will run from 14 depots to Delhi.
In this, seven ordinary buses will be operated from Delhi to Palampur, one to Jogindernagar, one to Pathankot, seven to Baijnath, seven ordinary buses and one Volvo bus to Dharamshala, five ordinary buses to Nagarota, seven ordinary and one Volvo bus to Hamirpur, five ordinary buses to Dehra, five to Una, two to Nalagarh, two Volvo buses from Delhi to Kullu, two to Dharampur, five special ordinary buses to Sarkaghat. 54 ordinary buses and six Volvo buses will be operated from Delhi to the state.
The corporation will run 25 special buses from Baddi to various districts and depots. On October 29, one bus will run for Mandi, one for Palampur, two for Hamirpur, two for Dehra, two for Bilaspur, two for Una. Apart from this, on October 30, one special bus will run for Mandi, one for Chamba, one for Dharamshala, one for Palampur, one for Dehra, one for Bilaspur, three for Una, one for Nagarota, one for Baijnath, one for Sarkaghat, one for Jogindernagar and one for Dharampur.
HRTC will run 70 special buses from Chandigarh on October 29 and 30. In this, 29 buses will be operated from Chandigarh to various districts on October 29 and 41 on October 30. On October 29, two buses will ply for Chamba, two for Dharamshala, two for Baijnath, two for Palampur, two for Nagrota Bagwan, two for Dehra, two for Hamirpur, three for Una, two for Kullu, two for Mandi, two for Sundernagar, two for Sarkaghat and two for Pathankot. Similarly, on October 30, two buses will be operated for Chamba, three for Dharamshala, three for Baijnath, three for Palampur, three for Nagrota Bagwan, three for Dehra, three for Hamirpur, four for Una, two for Kullu, three for Mandi, three for Sundernagar, three for Sarkaghat, four for Bilaspur and two for Pathankot.
