Kullu: HRTC has given a big relief to the tourists coming to Manali from Delhi. By reducing the fares of Volvo buses, passengers now have to pay only Rs 1533. If the Kiratpur-Manali four-lane is fully ready, then there can be more relief in fares. The four-lane system, when the buses used to go through long routes, the total fare of Manali-Delhi was Rs 1689. Due to the four-lane system, the fare was reduced by Rs 139 to Rs 1550, but now the fare has been reduced by Rs 17, and now the fare of Manali-Delhi and Delhi-Manali is Rs 1533.
The fare of the corporation’s Volvo buses on the Manali-Chandigarh route was earlier Rs 1137; the fare has become Rs 1000 when the buses run through the four lanes, while the fare of the Manali-Haridwar Volvo bus has also increased from Rs 1979 to Rs 1858. The fare of the Manali-Haridwar AC bus was earlier Rs. 1150; now it has become Rs. 933.
Kullu HRTC Regional Manager DK Narang said that Volvo buses running on long routes are being operated via four lanes, due to which the fare has been reduced. HRTC is trying to provide a pleasant journey and the best facilities to the passengers.
