Shimla: Hundreds of people in Himachal Pradesh had to face trouble today due to accountant and revenue officer not working online. The Himachal Joint Rural Revenue Officer have stopped online services across the state. Due to this, people are upset. If this dispute between the government and the Mahasangh is not resolved soon, then it will increase the problems of the people of the state in the coming days.
In fact, in the cabinet meeting last week, the government decided to make accountant and revenue officer a state cadre. Right now, both Patwari and Kanungo are district cadres. After the cabinet decides to make them state cadres, the Mahasangh is furious. They have also exited all official whatsapp groups today.
In protest against this, they have stopped online work and, in most places, submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister through SDM at the division level. Tomorrow, the Mahasangh will demand to withdraw the decision of making them state cadre by submitting a memorandum to the Chief Minister through DC in the districts.
Works like the Bonafide Certificate, Character Certificate, Income Certificate, EWS Certificate, OBC Certificate, Caste Certificate, Agriculture Certificate, Unemployment Certificate, Land Holding Certificate, and online reporting of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana have been stopped.
Satish Chaudhary said that the federation has called a meeting in Kullu on July 17. If their demands are not met, the federation will decide the next strategy of the movement in Kullu.
