International Shivratri Festival starts in Mandi from tomorrow

Mandi: The 7-day long International Shivratri Festival is starting from tomorrow in Mandi, the chhoti Kashi of Himachal Pradesh. For this, the arrival of deities will start in Mandi from today itself. Kamrunag, the revered deity of Mandi Janpath, will reach Chhoti Kashi today at 3 pm. On arrival of Kamrunag in Chhoti Kashi, DC and International Shivratri Festival Committee President Apoorv Devgan will welcome him. Along with Kamrunag, 7 other deities will also reach Mandi today. Invitations have been sent to 216 deities for this festival. It is believed that this time more than 200 deities will participate in this festival.

People from various states of North India reach Choti Kashi to see the International Festival of Mandi.

Beas Aarti specially in front of Panchavaktra Temple: DC

DC Apoorv Devgan said, expanding the grandeur of the International Shivratri Festival-2025 associated with the faith of Gods, this time Beas Aarti is being organized near the Panchavaktra Temple. Five priests have been invited from Kashi to perform this Aarti ritually. Apart from Aarti, worship will also be done here. He said that Mandi’s Shivratri Festival is famous for its rich Dev culture.
